1:250 Scale Japanese Yamato Electric RC WWII HT-3826 Warship/Battle Ship
Yamato, named after the ancient Japanese Yamato Province, was a battleship of the Imperial Japanese Navy. She was the very first developed (the lead ship) of the Yamato class. She and her sibling ship Musashi were the biggest, heaviest, and most powerful battleships ever constructed, weighing 72,802 tons at complete load. The class carried the biggest marine weapons ever fitted to any warship, nine 460 mm (18.1 inch) weapons.
The ship held unique significance for World War II Japan as symbol of the country's marine power (the word 'Yamato' was sometimes utilized to describe Japan itself), and its fairly effortless sinking by US airplane in the final days of the war throughout the suicide Operation Ten-Go is sometimes considered symbolic of Japan's defeat itself.
